Freshly cut, seasonal flowers

Hi, I'm Anna and I run Larkview Flowers, growing British cut flowers in the west of Suffolk, close to Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Ipswich. My journey into growing has been through a desire to tap into my family heritage and to share my love for beautiful flowers with everyone I can.

I grow seaonally, so the flowers available change throughout the year, with narcissus and anemone leading into snapdragons and freesias and finishing up the year with dahlia, asters and zinnias - and whole lot more in between.

Beautiful flowers can also be kind to the planet, and sustainability and wildlife enhancement are at the heart of my farm. Every bloom is grown chemical free, meaning the farm is filled with bees, pollinators and bugs (and hopefully some hedgehogs soon too!), and the flowers you take in your home only bring fantastic scent and no additional nasty chemicals.

Some of my earliest memories are being in my Grandpa's garden, admiring the flowers he'd grown and learning about fruit and vegetables. Long before then, he and my grandma had a flower farm at their bungalow (called Larkview) in the village of Prickwillow out on the Cambridgeshire Fens.

My mum grew up here and now she is growing with me too. A lovely walk down memory lane for her, and a fantastic wealth of knowledge and history for me. A lot of the flowers I grow are inspired by what she remembers cutting and boxing up to go to Covent Garden back in the 60s and 70s, including stocks, asters and freesias. My grandpa was one of the first British growers to import freesia corms and she remembers a Dutch grower coming to visit them in the early days.

Of all the flowers he grew later in life his beds of snapdragons were my favourite and I think he would have loved the long stem floristry varieties I now grow.

Most of the flowers I sell are either grown directly on the farm, and anything extra I need is sourced from other local growers who follow the same growing principles as me.

I provide seasonal bouquets and bunches sold from the flower stand at my home or available for order, as well as buckets for florists, DIY-event arrangements and crafts.

There is also a selection of willow available seasonally as well, perfect for floristry, weaving and living structures.

Larkview Flowers is a proud member of Flowers from the Farm, championing British grown blooms. If you love seasonal, Suffolk grown, wildlife firend flowers, then this is the place for you.
